Old Home Days Sausage Booth - Signups

Posted on Aug 31 2019 - 1:01pm
Old Home Days (OHD) is just around the corner.  Each year Troop 12 hosts a Sausage Booth on the weekend Saturday of OHD (14 September).  The town counts on us to provide this service, and this is one of our most important fund raising activities.  Not only does the Sausage Booth raise funds for our upcoming activities (including the biennial Big Trip), but it also showcases Troop 12 to the community.    Sign ups:  https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0D49A9A92D6-ohdsausage/21388177.

Every scout is expected to work at least one shift during this important fundrasier.  We also request the volunteer support of at least one adult per family.  All shift workers should wear the grey Troop 12 Class B shirt; if you do not have one, you can get one at the event; if you have outgrown yours, bring it with you to exchange for a larger size.

Troop 12 Handbook

Posted on Nov 5 2013 - 12:34pm
  • Troop 12 has a new pdf handbook to be used as an online reference to help scouts and adults navigate and understand how your Troop operates, in alphabetical order.  Most all topics are covered, with some items being linkable to make it more convenient in learning a topic better.  A printed copy to review will be available at regular troop meetings.  The handbook is subject to changes and updates as needed. If have or are interested in a PoR (Position of Responsibility), check them out in the handbook and seek a mentor for it for one is not already in place.
